WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
1/ Work with teams in identification of risks/hazards relative to supplier materials of new product designs, processes, and applications
2/ Provides cross functional support to select, approve and develop suppliers to meet customer and business needs
3/ Material (Component) Qualification---Implement PPAP & APQP
4/ Material quality Issue Solution and Trouble Shooting.
5/ Support Supplier CIP (Continuous Improvement Program.
6/ Leads the Supplier Requests for Change process, ECO/ECN/SCR implementation verification
7/ Performs quality audits on suppliers to assure products and services meet International Organization for Standards (ISO) and regulatory standards. And support annual maintenance audit for existing suppliers.
8/ Uses statistical techniques and professional independent judgment to analyze data for supplier
process improvement
9/ Develops and leads execution of process validations and tests; analyzes resulting data and document results.
10/Provides engineering support to Receiving Inspection including statistical analysis, measurement systems analysis, Gage R&R studies and inspection procedures
11/Participates in Material Review Board decisions on supplier provided parts and services
12/Performs Supplier Rating System evaluation.
THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:
1/ College or above, with rich experience in Mechanical;
2/ 5+ years quality engineering experience (CQE/PQE, etc.) inMechanical field, plus Mechanical engineering experience is preferred;
3/ Basic oral English with good communication skills.
4/ Use of the following tools are required: 8D, 5 Why, SPC, GR&R, AR&R, DOE, APQP, PPAP, CP and FMEA. 6-Sigma certification is preferred.
5/ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
6/ Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
7/ Able to go out for business trip.
